It is our mission at Spex Express, Inc. to provide our patients with the best comprehensive and quality eye care services available using high technological equipment, large inventory of frames and contact lenses, and an optical lab for prompt service. We will strive to the best of our ability to make customers happy with our professional service because in our opinion, clear vision begins with healthy eyes.

Spex Express History

Spex Express originally opened in August 1993. At that time, it was staffed by a revolving door of Doctors and Opticians. The bottom line was that the customer’s needs were not being met. Dr. Steve Gustafson and Optician Chris Brundies believed that together, they could have a Doctor/Optician-owned, non-chain store practice that would put the needs of the customer first. With that idea behind them, they bought Spex Express on November 1st, 1995. Then on April 1st 2004, Dr. Jeffrey Frank joined the team by purchasing Dr. Gustafson's share of the practice. The original idea remains unchanged. Every time you visit, you see the same doctor – one who knows your personal medical history and needs. You work with the same optician every time – one who is aware of your needs – who knows what has worked for you in the past, and knows new technology that may be right for you. The end result? Spex Express, a local-family owned private practice, takes pride in providing ourself in excellent customer service to our customers.
